Missouri Valley Community Schools is proud to host Military Appreciation Night during our home football game against Logan-Magnolia on Friday, September 4.
As part of our pregame ceremony, we are inviting local veterans and active-duty military members from Missouri Valley, West Harrison and Logan-Magnolia to help us honor our country by holding a large American flag donated by WoodmenLife on the field during the playing of the National Anthem.
This is a special opportunity for our communities to come together and recognize the men and women who have faithfully served our nation. We would be honored to have you join us as we pay tribute to your service and sacrifice.
If you are a veteran, active-duty service member, or family member of deployed service members and would be willing to participate in this meaningful ceremony, please contact the Activity Director from your school by August 21, 2026. The contact information is listed below for your school district:

We plan to have a practice run at 5:30 PM on Friday, September 4 to ensure we know how to unfold and fold the flag during the ceremony.
