Mr. Justin Wardyn

Dear Missouri Valley Families,

I am honored and excited to be the principal of the middle and high schools at Missouri Valley Community School District beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. I come to Missouri Valley from Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point, Nebraska, where I have served as the 7–12 principal, and previously taught middle school science in Columbus. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Wayne State College and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.

My leadership approach is rooted in supporting teachers and students, working with families, and building on small-town values like trust, relationships, and shared success.

My wife, Nora, and I, along with our four children—Marie, Mildred, Joseph, and Meredith—are excited to become part of the Missouri Valley community. Having grown up in a small Nebraska town, I value the strong relationships and sense of belonging that communities like this provide. Missouri Valley feels like a place where people genuinely care for one another, and that sense of connection is what drew our family here. I look forward to meeting students, staff, and families and working together to continue the great work already underway to support every student’s success.

Sincerely, Mr. Wardyn
