Bullying / Harassment
We believe every student has a right to a conducive learning environment. Students who feel threatened or harassed may be distracted from their learning. Every report filed by a student or parent is investigated by school employees and action is taken to ensure that the student is afforded an opportunity to return to a learning environment where they feel safe and supported.
If, upon completion of investigation and action by the building administrator, a parent or student does not feel as though the situation has been resolved, they may fill out the Bullying / Harassment Complaint Form, per board policy No. 104.2 Anti-Bullying/Harassment Policy. The Level 1 Investigator will then be responsible for handling the complaint of bullying or harassment. The Investigator will consider the totality of circumstances presented in determining whether conduct objectively constitutes bullying or harassment. Upon completion of the investigation, the Investigator will issue a report with respect to the findings.
Anti-Bully/Harassment Policies and Forms
To be investigated by the Level 1 Investigator, the forms must be filled out in their entirety and turned in to the Building Administrator.
