HS Principal Biography

Deidre Drees is in her fifth year as MVHS Principal. Prior to that, she was the high school guidance counselor at MVHS for four years. During that time, Mrs. Drees was also the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) sponsor and an UP DREAM sponsor. Before Missouri Valley, Mrs. Drees worked as an elementary counselor, high school counselor, physical education teacher, and coach in the Maple Valley School District.
Mrs. Drees completed her undergraduate work in physical education/coaching at Northwestern in Roseville, MN and the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA. While a resident director at Creighton University, Mrs. Drees earned her Master's Degree in School Counseling. Mrs. Drees received her Master's Degree in School Administration from Wayne College in Wayne, NE.
