Hello. My name is Carla Christensen, although most students call me Mrs. C. I have been teaching in the Mo. Valley Elementary School since 1996. This will be my 6th year in 3rd grade. Prior to 3rd grade I taught Reading Recovery and Title I Reading.
A little bit about myself: I graduated from Iowa State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In addition, I have a Reading Endorsement, a Social Studies Endorsement and Reading Recovery Certification. I am a huge ISU Cyclone fan (sorry to all you Husker Fans). My husband, Kevin, is an IT director for Gavilon Inc./ConAgra in Omaha. He too, is an ISU alum and big Cyclone Fan. Teaching is my passion, but my pride and joy are our daughters, Kimberlyn Grace and Carlyn Faith
