My name is Jamie W. Meeder. I am originally from Winner, SD. Winner is about five hours away from Missouri Valley, Iowa. I grew up on a farm and have three brothers that are all younger than me. I went to school in Carroll, Iowa. I received my two year degree from DMACC and my four year degree I received from UNI in Spring of 1999. I began teaching that fall in Missouri Valley at St. Patrick's School. I then left Missouri Valley for one year to take a teaching position in Omaha, NE. After that one year break I was offered a position to come back to Missouri Valley in the fall of 2001 to teach in the public school. I have been at Missouri Valley since that time. My first year back I taught second grade. Then due to a retirement I was allowed to take a third grade position for which I have had for three years.
