Do You Have Any Excess Produce From Your Garden?
The Missouri Valley High School Family and Consumer Science Classes would appreciate donations of any excess produce you may have from your garden Last year people were very generous and the Basic Foods, Global Foods, and Culinary Arts classes all benefited from the many donations. We appreciated the challenge of researching ways to use the produce in dishes and canning some of the produce. One of the units students enjoy is making processed salsa and jalapeno jelly and poppers.
