NHS Inducts Twenty-Two New Members

Twenty students from Missouri Valley High School were inducted into membership of the National Honor Society in a ceremony held at the school on Thursday, December 3, 2009.
Members were selected by a Faculty Council for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Students inducted were:
Alex Amato, son of Chris and Tammy Amato; Felecia Cihacek, daughter of Tisha Lenz and Scott Cihacek; Danielle Collins, daughter of Cathy and Lance Collins; Meagan Gochenour, daughter of Rene and Forrest Gochenour; MaKayla Harvey, daughter of Stacie and Don Harvey; Quinn Hejlik, son of Suzanne McDade and Darryl Hejlik; Ashton Hoffman, daughter of Dave and Lauran Hoffman; Tiffani Housh, daughter of Thomas and Robin Housh; Scott Hinkel, son of Kay and Henry Hinkel II; Megan Meier, daughter of John and Laura Meier; Jole Miller, son of Jeff and Kris Miller; Shelby Keller, daughter of Art and Sharmain Keller; Taylor Kierscht, daughter of Kyle and Teresa Kierscht; Matthew Kraushaar, son of Annette and Duane Kraushaar; Erin McClary, daughter of Terry and Barbara McClary; Kelly Murray, daughter of Jeff and Debbie Murray; Cassandra Reisz, daughter of Kris and Tim Dooley; Sarah Sager, daughter of Barb Love; Kylie Schmitz, daughter of Gary and Jeanie Schmitz; Matthew Strong, son of Jim and Diane Strong
“This is an exciting group of students that have truly demonstrated the values of the National Honor Society throughout their high school careers.” said Erik Jensen, chapter advisor.
This is the 88th year Missouri Valley High School has inducted students into one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious organizations for high school students. New members join eighteen current members.
