This is my second year to teach at Missouri Valley High School. I teach Spanish and also sponsor National Honor Society, the Freshman class, and, of course, Spanish Club. I enjoy teaching language and Spanish is quite a fun class. If you are not taking it, then you should be. In addition to Spanish I know a little Danish, and am teaching myself Swahili in anticipation of a mission trip to Tanzania this summer. Occasionally, my musical talent on the guitar is put to use with Mo. Valley's staff band, The Math Street Boys. In addition to music I enjoy biking across at least one state per year, and spending time with my wife Sara and son Anker. Prior to teaching at MVHS I spent 5 years teaching at Mercy High School in Omaha. I received my teaching degree from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska where I grew up. Obviously, this means that I am a Cornhusker fan.
