About Mrs. C.

Hello.  My name is Carla Christensen, although most students call me Mrs. C.  I have been teaching in the Mo. Valley Elementary School since 1996.  During that time I have taught 4th grade Language Arts, Title I Reading K-5, Reading Recovery and 3rd grade.  
A little bit about myself:  I graduated from Iowa State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  In addition, I have a Reading Endorsement, a Social Studies Endorsement and Reading Recovery Certification. I am a huge ISU Cyclone fan (sorry to all you Husker Fans).  My husband, Kevin, is a senior network administrator at ConAgra in Omaha.  He too, is an ISU alum and big Cyclone Fan.  Teaching is my passion, but my pride and joy are our daughters, Kimberlyn Grace and Carlyn Faith
