7th Graders Rock Climb in PE

We were very blessed to be visited by the National Guard Monday, October 8th. They brought with them a thirty foot climbing wall for our middle and high school students to climb during their PE time. The 7th graders were VERY excited at this opportunity. Approximately fifteen of the 50 students who attempted the climb were able to eventually get to the top. There were some tense moments here and there (ask Jessica, Hailey, and Brett), but all in all it was a fun fun opportunity for our students. We hope they are able to come again in the coming years.
I would also like to share a bit about the gentlemen from the
Guard unit who were helping the students. These four
gentlemen were so professional and yet so approachable by the
students. Their demeanor and ability to relate to the
students made this opportunity even better. Thank you so much
guys! ;)
