SCHOOL ADMISSION TESTS

*MVHS CODE NUMBER: 162-950*

As a part of the admission requirements, colleges require admission tests.  ACT is the most common assessment used by schools in this area.  An ACT score of 20 and rank in the upper half of the class is required for admittance into most four-year colleges.  Some east and west coast colleges and scholarships require the SAT scores.

Technical and/or community colleges do not require the ACT but still have an entrance exam referred to as the “ASSET/COMPASS Test”.
